Stakeholder Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Stakeholder Manager to join our dynamic team at Worley, based in the strategic and rapidly developing industrial hub of Ras Al-Khair. This pivotal role is designed for a professional who excels in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business objectives and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in stakeholder engagement, project management, and cross-functional collaboration, with a keen ability to navigate complex organizational landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management: Develop and implement comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategies to foster trust, transparency, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including government entities, regulatory bodies, clients, and community representatives.
• Project Coordination & Alignment: Work closely with project teams to ensure stakeholder needs and concerns are integrated into project planning and execution, mitigating risks and enhancing project outcomes.
• Communication & Reporting: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholder inquiries, providing timely and accurate updates through structured reporting mechanisms. Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership and external stakeholders as required.
• Conflict Resolution & Negotiation: Identify potential conflicts or issues early and proactively develop solutions to maintain positive stakeholder relationships. Utilize negotiation skills to align diverse interests with organizational goals.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all stakeholder interactions adhere to corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. Monitor compliance with local and international regulations relevant to stakeholder engagements.
• Strategic Planning & Initiative Development: Contribute to the formulation of long-term stakeholder engagement plans that support business growth and sustainability objectives. Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements in stakeholder management practices.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in stakeholder management, project coordination, or a related field, with a preference for candidates with experience in the energy, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.
• Skills & Competencies:
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in stakeholder mapping, engagement planning, and relationship-building techniques.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity, particularly in a diverse and international business environment.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory; additional language skills (e.g., Arabic) are advantageous.
• Personal Attributes: Demonstrated leadership, adaptability, and resilience in high-pressure environments. A commitment to ethical conduct and corporate social responsibility.
