Pool/Beach Service Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pool/Beach Service Manager to oversee and elevate the guest experience at our luxurious Six Senses property in Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will lead a dedicated team to ensure impeccable service standards, operational excellence, and the seamless delivery of pool and beach amenities. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining the brand’s reputation for unparalleled hospitality while fostering a culture of sustainability and wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of pool and beach attendants, lifeguards, and service staff. Foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes guest satisfaction, safety, and professional growth.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, including pool and beach maintenance, equipment management, and service delivery. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards while optimizing resource utilization to enhance efficiency.
• Guest Experience Management: Curate and personalize guest experiences by anticipating needs, resolving issues proactively, and delivering memorable moments. Collaborate with other departments to integrate pool and beach services with broader hospitality offerings, such as dining, wellness, and recreational activities.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce rigorous safety protocols, including lifeguard supervision, emergency preparedness, and adherence to local regulations. Conduct regular inspections to mitigate risks and maintain a secure environment for guests and staff.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Champion the property’s commitment to environmental stewardship by implementing eco-friendly practices, such as water conservation, waste reduction, and energy efficiency in pool and beach operations.
• Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services, from pool chemicals to beach equipment.
• Financial Oversight: Monitor budgetary performance, track expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality. Prepare reports to provide insights to senior management on operational and financial metrics.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., lifeguarding, pool operations) are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in pool/beach management, hospitality operations, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Experience in luxury or resort settings is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in pool and beach management systems, safety compliance software, and basic financial reporting tools. Familiarity with sustainability practices in hospitality is advantageous.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Strong leadership skills with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; additional languages, particularly Arabic, are highly preferred.
