Your Role as a DGS Service Engineer

As a DGS Service Engineer at EagleBurgmann Saudi Arabia Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing our Dry Gas Seal (DGS) CoC (Center of Competence) facilities and equipment. Your expertise will directly contribute to the efficient operation of our service department, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional performance. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of critical tasks, including:

• Maintenance and Optimization: Oversee the maintenance of DGS CoC facilities and equipment, providing timely recommendations to enhance performance and reliability. Collaborate with the service manager to ensure seamless operations and expedite service delivery.
• Resource Management: Assess and recommend additional resources, including personnel, equipment, and training programs, to support the evolving needs of the DGS CoC and its team.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Assist the sales department in resolving technical challenges, executing critical installation projects, and conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for DGS seal failures. Provide technical expertise for customer training seminars, presentations, and staff development initiatives.
• Contract and Customer Relations: Manage ongoing service contracts, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and customer satisfaction. Act as a liaison between customers, vendors, and the sales department to address queries, provide clarifications, and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Reporting and Collaboration: Work closely with the EB-Service Engineering department to finalize RCA reports, optimize test cells, and accelerate repair processes. Assist the service manager in preparing monthly planning and progress reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on technical experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or related industries, with a specialized focus on Wet and Dry Gas Seals and their support systems, including assembly, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in the general arrangement, design, and assembly of rotating equipment, as well as the ability to interpret and manage Bill of Materials (BOM). Experience working within large and complex organizational structures is highly desirable.
• IT and Analytical Skills: Strong command of advanced computer systems and software, including MS Office Suite and Power BI. Familiarity with document management systems and data analysis tools is essential for driving informed decision-making.
• Communication: Fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to effectively engage with stakeholders, customers, and team members across global locations.
