Key Responsibilities

• Technical Documentation Management: Prepare, organize, and maintain technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and engineering reports. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date, properly filed, and easily accessible for team members and stakeholders.
• Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the engineering team, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and coordinating travel arrangements for site visits or conferences.
• Data Entry and Record-Keeping: Accurately input and update engineering data into databases, spreadsheets, and project management systems. Maintain meticulous records of project progress, revisions, and compliance with industry standards.
• Communication and Coordination: Act as a liaison between the engineering team, contractors, vendors, and other departments to facilitate seamless collaboration. Ensure clear and timely communication of technical requirements and project updates.
• Quality Control: Review technical documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company and regulatory standards. Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrections with relevant stakeholders.
• Procurement Assistance: Support the procurement process by preparing purchase requisitions, tracking orders, and verifying deliveries of engineering materials and equipment. Ensure timely acquisition of necessary resources to avoid project delays.
• Compliance and Safety: Assist in ensuring that all engineering activities comply with local, national, and international regulations, as well as company safety policies. Maintain awareness of industry best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• A diploma or associate degree in engineering, technical studies, or a related field. Relevant certifications in technical or administrative disciplines are a plus.
• Proven experience in a technical or engineering support role, preferably within the construction, manufacturing, or oil and gas sectors in Saudi Arabia.
• Proficiency in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools. Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in technical documents and data.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and professionally.
