Project Execution Lead - EPC

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Execution Lead – EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of complex EPC projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive project execution plans, including scope definition, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Ensure alignment with client requirements and organizational objectives.
• Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams comprising engineers, procurement specialists, construction managers, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative work environment, delegate responsibilities effectively, and ensure seamless communication across all stakeholders.
• Procurement and Supply Chain Management: Oversee the procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, and material procurement to ensure timely delivery of high-quality resources. Monitor supply chain performance and mitigate potential disruptions.
• Construction and Execution Oversight: Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, regulatory standards, and project specifications. Address any technical or operational challenges promptly to maintain project momentum.
• Quality Assurance and Control: Implement rigorous quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and performance reviews to uphold industry standards and client expectations.
• Budget and Cost Management: Monitor project expenditures, track financial performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety. Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams. Manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and ensure transparent communication to foster long-term partnerships.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to local and international regulations, including health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, progress reports, and compliance records.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or a related discipline. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in EPC project execution, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role. Prior experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical, power, or infrastructure sectors is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and procurement processes. Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO, API, or ASME is advantageous.
• Leadership and Soft Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, resolve conflicts, and make data-driven decisions under pressure. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Certifications: Valid certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are a plus.
