Role Overview

The Senior Sales Manager will play a critical role in driving enterprise sales growth across Saudi Arabia, owning complex sales opportunities from initial engagement to contract execution. This high-impact position requires the ability to build trusted relationships with C-level executives, compliance leaders, risk teams, and technology decision-makers. The successful candidate will not only deliver against ambitious revenue targets but also provide leadership within the regional sales team, fostering best practices, mentoring junior colleagues, and shaping the company’s commercial growth strategy across the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Sales Leadership: Drive new enterprise business across banks, financial institutions, fintech organizations, and regulated enterprises in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue growth within existing customers.
  • Full-Cycle Sales Ownership: Lead the complete enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to commercial negotiation and contract execution.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior business stakeholders to influence purchasing decisions.
  • Opportunity Development: Identify, qualify, and cultivate large, complex sales opportunities across multiple buying centers.
  • Commercial Negotiation: Lead high-value software and services agreement negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and long-term customer value.
  • Tender Management: Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to manage RFI, RFP, and tender responses effectively.
  • Executive Presentations: Deliver compelling executive presentations, product demonstrations, and value-based sales engagements to drive decision-making.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless customer onboarding and long-term success.
  • Revenue Forecasting: Maintain accurate CRM discipline and manage a healthy sales pipeline to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and customer engagements to enhance brand visibility.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments within the payments and compliance landscape.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior members of the sales organization while contributing to the continued growth of the regional business.
  • Compliance Adherence: Ensure compliance with all internal governance, security, and confidentiality policies.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of successful enterprise software sales experience, preferably within fintech, payments, banking technology, AML, fraud prevention, financial crime, compliance, or risk management.
  • Track Record: Proven ability to consistently exceed quota in enterprise or strategic account sales.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of payments, compliance, AML, sanctions screening, fraud prevention, and regulatory technology markets.
  • C-Level Engagement: Experience engaging C-level executives and senior decision-makers in complex sales environments.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with SaaS or enterprise software solutions, particularly within financial services.
