Your Role as an Associate/Executive Assistant | Resource Planner in Audit & Assurance
As an Associate/Executive Assistant specializing in Resource Planning within our Audit & Assurance practice, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the deployment of our talented professionals. Reporting to local and regional leadership, you will be responsible for managing the scheduling and allocation of audit teams to diverse engagements throughout the year. Your role will involve maximizing utilization levels, ensuring alignment with business requirements, and maintaining the highest standards of service excellence. Key responsibilities include:
- Resource Deployment: Manage the allocation of auditors to various assignments, balancing engagement budgets, gearing ratios, and employee development needs to achieve optimal utilization.
- Collaboration and Conflict Resolution: Work closely with Managers and Talent Group Leaders to address business requirements, resolve scheduling conflicts, and ensure adherence to established policies and frameworks.
- Resource Planning and Tracking: Maintain and update schedules on our dedicated resource planning tool to ensure accuracy and real-time visibility. Monitor resource utilization on a regular basis, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions to enhance efficiency.
- HR and Talent Management: Collaborate with Human Resources to manage the onboarding and offboarding of resources, identify manpower requirements, and address employee performance concerns. Partner with the Learning department to implement and track learning requirements for continuous professional development.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze a variety of reports to ensure quality standards are met and to support data-driven decision-making. Communicate resourcing concerns to leadership to enable informed strategic planning.
- Stakeholder Communication: Actively manage expectations, escalate critical matters, and ensure seamless communication across all levels of the organization.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other relevant tasks as assigned to support the overall objectives of the team and the business.

Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on planning, scheduling, or resource management.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is considered a valuable asset.
- Advanced technical proficiency in relevant tools and systems, with the ability to leverage data for strategic planning.
