As a Senior Audit Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality assurance services to clients across the insurance industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute comprehensive audit engagements for insurance companies, assessing financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with local and international standards such as IFRS and Saudi Arabian Financial Reporting Standards (SAFRS).
- Conduct in-depth risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in insurance operations, underwriting processes, claims management, and actuarial practices, proposing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior managers, engagement partners, and industry experts, to deliver tailored audit solutions that align with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing strategic insights, fostering trust, and ensuring transparent communication throughout the audit lifecycle.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks in the insurance sector, incorporating best practices into audit methodologies and client advisory services.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the audit practice.

Qualifications and Requirements:
While we are committed to considering all qualified candidates, the following qualifications are essential for this role:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, or ACCA) is a significant advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in audit, assurance, or risk management, with a strong focus on the insurance industry preferred.
- Proven expertise in conducting audits under IFRS, SAFRS, or similar frameworks, with experience in insurance-specific regulations such as those set by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) or the Insurance Supervision Department (ISD).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, both verbally and in writing, to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Familiarity with audit software (e.g., IDEA, ACL, or SAP) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for advanced data analysis.
- Certification in insurance-related domains (e.g., Chartered Insurance Professional or relevant actuarial certifications) is a plus.
- Saudi Arabian residency or eligibility to work in the Kingdom is required.
