Key Responsibilities
The Geotechnical SME will be responsible for a wide range of technical and leadership duties, including:

- Mentorship and Training: Mentor junior engineers, geologists, and technical staff to enhance their geotechnical knowledge and skills. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
- Innovation and Technology: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in geotechnical engineering, including digital tools, software, and emerging technologies. Recommend and implement innovative solutions to improve project outcomes and efficiency.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key technical liaison with clients, regulatory bodies, and third-party stakeholders. Present geotechnical findings, recommendations, and solutions in a clear and persuasive manner to ensure alignment and buy-in.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of geotechnical deliverables, including soil investigations, laboratory testing, and field monitoring. Ensure that all work meets the highest standards of accuracy, reliability, and compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Geotechnical Engineering is highly desirable.
