Role Summary

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Hanwha Power Arabia, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing compressor production processes to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality or compliance with drawing specifications. Your responsibilities will encompass the development and management of assembly and testing procedures, the design of assembly fixtures, and the resolution of technical challenges that arise during manufacturing. This role requires a strong technical foundation, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with designers, engineers, and production teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Procedure Development and Management: Prepare, document, and manage comprehensive assembly and testing procedures for compressors to ensure adherence to engineering drawings and industry standards.
• Fixture Design: Design and optimize assembly fixtures to enhance efficiency, precision, and safety in the manufacturing process.
• Technical Support: Provide expert guidance and support to assembly and testing teams, addressing technical queries and ensuring seamless execution of manufacturing operations.
• Issue Resolution: Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot issues that arise during compressor assembly and testing, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and production staff, to foster a collaborative environment that drives innovation and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must meet the following basic qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on technical experience in the machinery manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, including AutoCAD and Catia.

While the above qualifications are essential, the following preferred qualifications will set you apart:

• Experience in analyzing failures in rotating machinery to enhance reliability and performance.
• Expertise in identifying and resolving leakage issues in high-pressure systems.
• Certifications related to high-pressure gas systems and electrical engineering.
