Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for leading and supervising dive operations, ensuring adherence to the highest safety standards while delivering an unparalleled experience to our guests and stakeholders. Your duties will include:

• Dive Leadership: Leading certified divers on guided dives, ensuring their safety and enjoyment while providing insightful commentary on marine ecosystems and underwater features.
• Safety Management: Conducting pre-dive safety briefings, equipment checks, and risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards and ensure compliance with international diving standards and local regulations.
• Equipment Maintenance: Overseeing the inspection, maintenance, and servicing of diving equipment to guarantee optimal performance and reliability for all dive operations.
• Training Support: Assisting in the training and certification of new divers, including PADI and other recognized diving certifications, under the supervision of senior dive instructors.
• Guest Experience: Delivering exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a memorable and safe diving experience.
• Environmental Stewardship: Promoting sustainable diving practices and educating guests on marine conservation efforts to protect the unique biodiversity of the Red Sea.
• Operational Coordination: Collaborating with other departments, including marine biology, hospitality, and logistics, to streamline dive operations and enhance overall efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Certification: A valid Divemaster certification from a recognized agency such as PADI, SSI, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 50 logged dives and at least 2 years of professional diving experience, with a proven track record in dive leadership and safety management.
• First Aid and CPR: Current certification in First Aid and CPR, with additional training in oxygen provider and dive accident management preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in dive equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Familiarity with dive planning software and underwater navigation tools is advantageous.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; additional proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus.
• Physical Fitness: Excellent physical condition and the ability to perform demanding tasks in challenging underwater environments.
• Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction and safety.
