Factory Manager – Leadership Role in Yanbu' al Bahr

Naqa albeah is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Factory Manager to oversee and optimize our manufacturing operations in Yanbu' al Bahr. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader who can drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with industry standards, and foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in factory management, with a strong background in production planning, workforce leadership, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

The Factory Manager will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and day-to-day management of all manufacturing processes to meet production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing workforce, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. Ensure adequate staffing levels and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and productivity.
• Process Optimization: Analyze production workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and lower operational costs.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control measures to ensure all products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address non-conformances and drive corrective actions.
• Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Enforce rigorous health, safety, and environmental policies to maintain a secure workplace and ensure full compliance with local regulations and international standards.
• Budget and Cost Control: Manage the factory’s budget, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or safety. Report financial performance and recommend improvements to senior management.
• Maintenance and Equipment Management: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all machinery and equipment are operational, well-maintained, and upgraded as necessary to support production goals.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with procurement, logistics, and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and efficient distribution of finished goods.
• Regulatory and Compliance Oversight: Stay abreast of industry regulations, local laws, and international standards to ensure the factory operates within legal and ethical boundaries.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in factory or production management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in the manufacturing sector, particularly in industries such as chemicals, food processing, or industrial materials, is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in manufacturing software (e.g., ERP systems), production planning tools, and data analysis. Familiarity with ISO standards, OSHA regulations, and other industry-specific compliance frameworks.
• Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage conflicts, and drive organizational change. Strong decision-making skills and a results-oriented mindset.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with senior management, employees, and external stakeholders.
