Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Recreation Experience Expert to join our team at Ummahat Island 1, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a key resource for all recreational activities offered at our property, ensuring guests enjoy a safe, engaging, and memorable experience. Your responsibilities will encompass providing detailed information about available recreational facilities, including pools, beaches, entertainment/game rooms, gyms, and children’s activity centers. You will play a vital role in motivating, recruiting, and organizing guests to participate in recreational programs while fostering a fun and relaxing atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Engagement & Activity Coordination: Actively promote recreational facilities and activities to enhance guest satisfaction. Recruit, register, and organize guests for participation in scheduled programs, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain a secure environment for all guests and staff. Monitor activities within recreational areas and respond promptly to emergencies in accordance with local operational procedures. Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management and complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Customer Service & Support: Provide exceptional service by anticipating guest needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and expressing genuine appreciation for their patronage. Maintain a professional demeanor, including clear and courteous communication, proper telephone etiquette, and adherence to company policies.
• Facility & Equipment Maintenance: Ensure recreational areas, equipment, and supplies are clean, well-maintained, and in optimal working condition. Perform routine inspections to identify and address any operational issues or safety hazards.
• Transaction & Administrative Duties: Process payments for equipment rentals, recreational activities, facility rentals, or retail sales using point-of-sale systems. Maintain accurate records and verify information as required, including visual inspections of tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
• Team Collaboration & Professionalism: Develop and sustain positive working relationships with colleagues to support team objectives. Uphold company confidentiality, protect assets, and present a polished and professional appearance at all times.

Physical & Operational Requirements

The role demands a high level of physical activity and adaptability. You will be required to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, as well as move, lift, transport, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds (11 kg) independently, and objects exceeding this weight with assistance. Tasks may involve grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying sizes, navigating elevated, confined, or narrow spaces, and moving across slippery, uneven, or inclined surfaces. Additional physical demands include reaching overhead and below knee level, bending, twisting, crawling, and ascending or descending stairs or service ramps. The ability to perform these tasks efficiently and safely is essential to ensuring a high standard of service and operational excellence.

Desired Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED certification.
• Experience: Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or recreational programming is highly desirable. A background in managing guest activities or facility operations will be considered an asset.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage guests of all ages. Proficiency in using computers and point-of-sale systems, as well as the capacity to read and interpret small print or visual information accurately.
