Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a PMO Consultant – Finance, your core responsibilities will encompass a wide range of financial and project management activities, including:

• Financial Planning and Budgeting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, refine, and execute comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with project goals and organizational objectives.
• Cost Management and Control: Monitor project expenditures, analyze cost variances, and implement corrective actions to ensure adherence to approved budgets while optimizing resource utilization.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including project budgets, performance metrics, and KPIs, to support executive decision-making and stakeholder communication.
• Project Financial Governance: Establish and maintain robust financial governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in financial management.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the PMO, finance teams, project managers, and senior leadership to facilitate seamless communication, alignment, and accountability in financial matters.
• Transformation and Initiative Support: Provide financial insights and analysis for transformation initiatives, ensuring that financial considerations are integrated into strategic planning and execution processes.
• Management Presentations: Support the preparation of high-impact management presentations, highlighting financial performance, project progress, and key insights to drive informed decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Professional Experience: Proven experience in finance-related roles, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked within a PMO environment or have exposure to project financial management.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, cost control, and reporting methodologies, coupled with the ability to leverage financial tools and software for data analysis and visualization.
• Certifications: A PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory to demonstrate your commitment to project management excellence and adherence to industry standards.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities are essential to foster collaboration and drive alignment.
• Location Flexibility: While prior experience in Saudi Arabia is not mandatory, candidates with a global perspective and the ability to adapt to diverse cultural and business environments are encouraged to apply. Experience in the insurance sector is also not required, though a broad understanding of financial services can be advantageous.
