Senior Technical Services Engineer

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Design and Development: Produce detailed specifications, designs, and technical assessments for new or modified components and systems. Develop and refine engineering models and methods to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
• Engineering Analysis and Optimization: Conduct in-depth analysis and evaluations to identify engineering solutions that increase efficiency, reduce operational costs, and enhance asset reliability. Prepare comprehensive studies and implementation plans to support organizational objectives.
• Technology and Innovation: Stay at the forefront of technological advancements, particularly within the LPG industry. Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve system performance, reliability, and sustainability.
• Asset Management and Maintenance: Develop and monitor preventive maintenance plans to ensure the reliability and longevity of company assets. Assess equipment performance, recommend upgrades, and implement calibration procedures to meet global standards for reliability and availability.
• Technical Documentation and Review: Review and approve engineering drawings, technical specifications, and material requirements. Contribute to the preparation of studies, designs, and cost estimates for engineering projects.
• Product Evaluation and Testing: Lead the evaluation of new systems and equipment, ensuring they meet approved requirements and industry standards. Initiate and oversee technical testing for new products, providing data-driven recommendations for implementation.
• 3D Engineering Design: Utilize advanced design software to develop 3D engineering designs and graphics, enhancing visualization and facilitating collaboration across teams.
• Technical Support and Collaboration: Provide expert technical support to end users, troubleshooting issues, and offering guidance on equipment operation, maintenance, and upgrades. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all engineering activities and asset management practices adhere to safety regulations, performance standards, and industry best practices. Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous learning within the team.
• Project and Task Management: Execute assigned duties and projects with precision, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results. Support line managers in driving strategic initiatives and achieving organizational goals.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Minimum of three years of relevant experience in technical services, engineering design, or asset management, with a proven track record of delivering technical solutions in complex environments.
