Laser Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Laser Technician to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality laser procedures while ensuring patient satisfaction and safety. In this position, you will provide direct support to laser treatments, assist in administrative tasks, and maintain the highest standards of professionalism and care. Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care and Support: Prepare patients for laser procedures, ensuring their comfort and privacy before, during, and after treatment. Provide clear and accurate health instructions regarding pre- and post-treatment care to enhance recovery and results.
• Administrative and Documentation Duties: Complete all necessary documentation following each procedure, including treatment parameters, to ensure accurate records for future reference. Book follow-up appointments and maintain confidentiality of patient records in compliance with HMG policies.
• Collaboration and Communication: Refer new patients to dermatologists for detailed explanations and consent. Communicate promptly and professionally with patients, respecting their decisions and addressing any concerns that may arise during or after treatment. Report any issues encountered during procedures to the Charge Nurse (CN), Head Nurse (HN), or Bio-Medical engineers for immediate resolution.
• Machine Maintenance and Safety: Monitor laser machines and accessories for any damages or malfunctions, reporting issues immediately to ensure patient and staff safety. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the proper aftercare of all used items.
• Training and Development: Orient and mentor new staff members, identifying their training needs and assisting in their professional growth. Participate in patient-centered care initiatives to continuously improve the quality of service provided by HMG.
• Education and Advocacy: Provide patient and family education as needed to ensure they are well-informed about the laser treatment process, expected outcomes, and post-treatment care. Advocate for patients by upholding their dignity, respect, and rights throughout their treatment journey.
• Compliance and Professionalism: Adhere strictly to all HMG policies, including obtaining invoices prior to procedures. Maintain valid Saudi Council Registration and uphold the highest standards of professional conduct in all interactions.

Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Diploma or preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Laser Technology, or an equivalent field.
• Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience as a Laser Technician or Laser Staff Nurse, with a proven track record in delivering laser treatments effectively.
• Certification and Licensing: Valid registration with the Saudi Council, ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulations.
• Skills and Attributes: Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient care. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a compassionate and respectful demeanor.
