Key Responsibilities

The Senior Specialist - Business Planning will oversee a wide range of strategic and operational functions, ensuring that all business activities are aligned with Qiddiya’s mission and vision. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Business Development: Lead the formulation and execution of business plans that drive sustainable growth, market expansion, and competitive advantage. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities and assess their feasibility.
• Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop and maintain robust financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, forecast revenue streams, and assess financial performance. Provide data-driven insights to support executive decision-making and resource allocation.
• Market Research and Competitive Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics. Utilize analytical tools and methodologies to generate actionable insights that inform strategic initiatives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between senior leadership, business units, and external partners to ensure alignment on business objectives. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to drive project success and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor business performance. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for executive leadership, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess a combination of advanced education, professional experience, and technical expertise. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required. An MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in business planning, strategic analysis, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role. Experience in the entertainment, tourism, or real estate sectors is a strong plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau). Strong knowledge of ERP systems and project management software is beneficial.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop strategic solutions. Strong critical thinking and decision-making capabilities are essential.
• Communication and Leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively. Demonstrated leadership experience in driving cross-functional initiatives and managing teams.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a valuable asset.
