Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Financial Operations: Manage and record all accounting transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts, with precision and timeliness to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain up-to-date financial records to support the company’s fiscal health.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare accurate journal entries, assist with monthly and annual financial closings, and ensure adherence to Saudi VAT regulations and ZATCA requirements. Support the preparation of comprehensive financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Payment Monitoring & Follow-Up: Track outstanding payments, proactively follow up with customers to resolve overdue accounts, and coordinate with suppliers to manage accounts payable efficiently.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, sales, warehouse, and other departments to streamline financial processes, support inventory reconciliation, and track the cost of medical products with meticulous attention to detail.
• Audit & Documentation: Maintain meticulous financial records, ensure compliance with audit requirements, and provide accurate documentation to support internal and external audits.

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, with a preference for candidates with prior exposure to the medical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical equipment industries.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Saudi VAT regulations, ZATCA compliance, and best practices in accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting or ERP systems are essential.
• Language & Communication: Fluency in Arabic with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Core Competencies: Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, maintain high levels of accuracy, and organize workflows efficiently in a fast-paced corporate environment.
