Position Overview

Our client, a leading organisation based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Business Partner (Saudi) to join their finance team. Key Responsibilities

The Financial Business Partner will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of the business by fulfilling the following responsibilities:

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Partner with business leaders to develop and execute financial strategies that drive growth, profitability, and sustainability. Provide expert guidance on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
• Performance Analysis & Insights: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for improvement. Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and operational adjustments.
• Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, including the development of financial models, scenario planning, and variance analysis. Ensure accurate and timely financial projections to support business planning and resource allocation.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted financial advisor to senior management and department heads, fostering strong relationships built on transparency and collaboration. Present financial findings and recommendations in a clear, concise manner to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Process Improvement & Controls: Enhance financial processes, systems, and controls to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Identify and implement best practices in financial management to streamline operations and mitigate risks.
• Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, in accordance with local and international accounting standards. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with commercial, operational, and executive teams to align financial objectives with business goals. Support initiatives such as pricing strategies, cost optimisation, and investment evaluations to drive sustainable growth.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education & Experience: A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of progressive finance experience. Strong expertise in financial business partnering, particularly within a commercial or operational environment, is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills are required. Familiarity with Saudi financial regulations and reporting standards is advantageous.
• Analytical & Communication Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail, enabling the translation of financial data into strategic business insights. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels and present complex financial information in a clear, compelling manner.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, fostering a culture of trust and collaboration. Demonstrated experience in influencing decision-making and driving financial discipline across the organisation.
• Saudisation Compliance: In alignment with national workforce development initiatives, this position is exclusively open to Saudi nationals.
