Senior ELV/ICT Commissioning Engineer

Position Overview

Energy Homeland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ELV/ICT Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the final stages of installation, testing, and handover of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems for a variety of high-profile projects. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration, optimal performance, and compliance with industry standards, contributing to the successful delivery of world-class infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• System Commissioning: Lead the commissioning process for ELV/ICT systems, including fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, structured cabling, network infrastructure, and building management systems (BMS). Ensure all systems are fully functional, tested, and compliant with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align commissioning activities with project timelines and objectives.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous inspections and performance tests to validate system functionality, reliability, and safety. Prepare detailed commissioning reports, including test results, deviations, and corrective actions, to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the process.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors during the commissioning phase. Facilitate effective communication to address technical queries, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with project deliverables.
• Documentation and Handover: Compile comprehensive as-built documentation, including operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals, warranties, and training materials. Support the handover process by providing training to end-users and ensuring a smooth transition to operational phases.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all commissioning activities adhere to international standards such as ISO, IEC, and local regulatory requirements. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance system performance and efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in ELV/ICT commissioning. Professional certifications such as CIBSE, BICSI, or equivalent are highly desirable. Proficiency in commissioning tools, software, and testing methodologies is essential, along with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
