With over 12 million users across the region, we are committed to making learning engaging, effective, and accessible to all students. Our mission is to bridge the gap between students and exceptional educators, regardless of geographical limitations, by integrating AI, peer-to-peer collaboration, and thoughtfully designed physical learning environments. Recently, we secured $41 million in Series B funding to further expand our impact and redefine the future of education in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
About The Role
At Noon, we operate hybrid classrooms that blend remote instruction with in-person learning. A star teacher delivers lessons remotely, while students gather in a physical classroom with an in-room facilitator ensuring seamless execution. This model thrives on the expertise of a Head Teacher who shapes the curriculum, maintains academic standards, and ensures effective delivery. We are seeking a Head Teacher for Sciences (National Curriculum)—an experienced educator with a decade or more of classroom experience, a proven track record in coaching teachers, and a passion for influencing thousands of students daily.
This role is fundamentally academic, not managerial. You will not oversee administrative tasks or manage staffing. Instead, your focus will be on defining curriculum priorities, upholding quality standards, coaching delivery teachers, and remaining actively engaged in the classroom to assess the real-world impact of your strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will be divided across three core areas:
- Curriculum & Term Planning (50%)
- Collaborate with the design team to determine curriculum priorities, including topic sequencing, depth of coverage, and term/year planning.
- Review and approve finalized lessons before they are deployed to students.
- Ensure alignment with Saudi national assessments, including Qudurat, Tahsili, and Nafes.
- Coaching Delivery Teachers (30%)
- Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to teachers delivering lessons in hybrid classrooms.
- Observe teaching sessions, provide constructive feedback, and implement follow-up strategies to enhance instructional practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement among the teaching team.
- Delivering Lessons (20%)
- Teach select sessions to maintain direct engagement with the curriculum and gather firsthand student feedback.
- Use insights from classroom interactions to refine and improve instructional materials.
What You’ll Own
- Academic leadership for the sciences curriculum across Middle School and High School on the National track, including topic sequencing, depth, and alignment with assessment standards.
- Development and approval of term and year plans in collaboration with design leads.
- Final academic review of all lessons before student deployment, ensuring content accuracy and pedagogical effectiveness.
- Coaching and professional growth of delivery teachers, in partnership with the Learning Excellence team.
- Analysis of assessment data—including diagnostics, exit tickets, end-of-chapter results, and learning gains—to inform curriculum adjustments for future terms.
- Serving as the academic authority in cross-functional discussions with design, learning excellence, product, and data teams.
What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of classroom teaching experience, with demonstrated expertise in both middle school and high school levels.
- 3–5 years of experience in coaching or managing teachers, including roles such as Head of Department, Subject Lead, Mentor, or formal coaching positions.
- Deep familiarity with Saudi national assessments, including Qudurat, Tahsili, and Nafes.
- Strong digital literacy and comfort with technology-enabled learning environments.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire educators and stakeholders across multiple levels.
- Passion for educational innovation and a commitment to improving learning outcomes through data-driven insights and collaborative strategies.
