Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Data Analyst Manager to lead our data analytics initiatives, ensuring the transformation of organizational data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making across strategic, clinical, operational, and financial domains. This pivotal role will operate under the guidance of the Data Management Office (DMO), upholding rigorous data governance standards while fostering a data-driven culture throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of analytical expertise, technical proficiency, and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills to deliver high-quality, accurate, and timely insights that support enterprise-wide performance management and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

The Data Analyst Manager will be responsible for the following core functions:

  • Data Analysis & Insights Generation:
    • Analyze large and complex datasets from clinical, operational, and financial systems to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities.
    • Translate raw data into meaningful insights that support executive decision-making and align with organizational goals.
    • Perform both ad-hoc and recurring analyses to address evolving business needs and leadership requests.
  • Reporting & Dashboard Development:
    • Design, develop, and maintain intuitive dashboards and reports using industry-leading Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
    • Ensure all reporting solutions meet business requirements, are user-friendly, and deliver actionable insights.
    • Automate recurring reports to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve data accuracy.
  • Data Quality & Integrity Assurance:
    • Validate the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across all sources to maintain high data integrity standards.
    • Identify and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with Data Owners and Data Stewards.
    • Support the implementation of data quality rules, monitoring mechanisms, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering:
    • Engage with clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into analytical models and reporting solutions.
    • Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
    • Document business requirements and maintain clear, concise documentation for all analytical outputs.
  • Data Governance & Compliance:
    • Support DMO initiatives related to data governance, data standards, and metadata management.
    • Ensure all analytical outputs comply with organizational data policies, healthcare regulations, and industry standards.
    • Assist in maintaining data definitions, KPI catalogs, and business glossaries to promote consistency and clarity.
  • Advanced Analytics & Organizational Enablement:
    • Leverage SQL, Python, or R to perform advanced analytics, including predictive and descriptive modeling, as required.
    • Promote data literacy and best practices across the organization to foster a data-driven culture.
    • Support enterprise initiatives related to performance management, strategic planning, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the following skills:

  • Education & Certifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field (required).
    • Certification in Data Analysis (e.g., Microsoft Certified Data Analyst) (required).
    • TOGAF Certified (Enterprise Architecture) (highly desirable).
    • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) (preferred).
  • Professional Experience:
    • 4-7 years of progressive experience in data analytics, preferably within the healthcare sector.
    • Strong knowledge of enterprise data architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and DAMA-DMBOK.
    • Hands-on experience with healthcare systems, including HIS, EMR, LIS, RIS, and ERP platforms.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
    • Expertise in SQL and statistical software (e.g., R, Python) for advanced data manipulation and analysis.
    • Familiarity with healthcare data standards and reporting requirements, including regulatory compliance.
  • Technical & Soft Skills:
    • Proven expertise in healthcare and government sectors, with a strong strategic planning mindset.
    • Exceptional communication, mediation, and conflict resolution skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Deep understanding of data architecture, analysis, and visualization principles and best practices.
    • Strong administrative and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
    • Fluency in Arabic and English, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
