Key Responsibilities

• Audit Planning and Execution: Assist the Manager Internal Audit in planning and executing audit engagements, ensuring alignment with the approved audit plan and organizational objectives.
• Risk Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough risk assessments to evaluate operational and financial processes, identifying potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
• Audit Reporting and Recommendations: Draft comprehensive audit reports that clearly summarize findings and provide actionable recommendations to enhance controls and processes.
• Follow-Up and Implementation: Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure timely and effective resolution, driving accountability across departments.
• Methodology and Tool Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of audit methodologies, tools, and frameworks to elevate the quality and efficiency of audit practices.
• Team Leadership and Development: Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, fostering their professional growth and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit work.
• Special Projects and Investigations: Support ad-hoc projects and investigations as required, providing analytical expertise and strategic insights to address critical business challenges.
• Business Performance Review: Analyze business results at both corporate and restaurant levels, collaborating with respective teams to develop and implement action plans for identified gaps and opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Professional Certifications: CIA, ACCA, CPA, or MBA qualification is required.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in internal audit, with a preference for candidates with Big Four audit firm experience.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP systems is mandatory; familiarity with audit software and data analytics tools is a plus.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop strategic solutions to mitigate risks.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Technical Competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook) is essential.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English with a strong grasp of technical terminology; proficiency in Arabic is considered advantageous.
