Freelance Public Relations Consultant – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Freelance Public Relations Consultant to join our expanding client portfolio. The ideal candidate must either be based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or possess extensive experience working within the Saudi market, ensuring a deep understanding of local media dynamics, cultural intricacies, and business practices. This role is designed for a strategic thinker who excels in crafting impactful PR campaigns, fostering media relationships, and driving brand visibility in one of the region’s most influential markets.

Key Responsibilities

As a Public Relations Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing high-impact PR strategies tailored to the Saudi market. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic PR Consultancy: Provide expert guidance on media trends, cultural considerations, audience behavior, and campaign positioning to ensure clients achieve their communication objectives. Leverage your insights to identify and capitalize on relevant opportunities within the Saudi market.
• Media Relations Management: Develop and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key media contacts across print, broadcast, and digital platforms. Proactively engage in media outreach, secure high-profile editorial coverage, coordinate interviews, and identify press opportunities that enhance client visibility and reputation.
• Influencer & Content Creator Engagement: Identify and collaborate with influential figures and content creators who resonate with target audiences. Manage strategic partnerships, coordinate product seeding initiatives, and oversee content approvals to ensure campaigns align with brand values and deliver measurable results.
• PR Campaign & Event Execution: Support the planning, coordination, and execution of comprehensive PR campaigns, media events, product launches, press conferences, and brand activations. Act as the primary liaison between clients, media representatives, influencers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and alignment with strategic goals.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Proven PR Experience: A strong track record in public relations, with demonstrated success in managing media relations and executing PR campaigns within the Saudi market or similar high-growth regions.
• Established Media & Influencer Network: Possess a well-developed network of media contacts and influencers within Saudi Arabia, enabling you to secure coverage and partnerships that drive brand awareness.
• Market Expertise: A deep understanding of Saudi Arabia’s media landscape, cultural nuances, consumer trends, and regulatory environment. Ability to tailor strategies that resonate with local audiences while aligning with global best practices.
• Exceptional Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, coupled with strong stakeholder management and client servicing skills. You should be adept at articulating complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Organizational Excellence: Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and clients to achieve shared objectives.
• Agency Background Preferred: Prior experience in a PR agency setting is highly advantageous, as it demonstrates your ability to handle diverse clients, manage high-pressure situations, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
