Drive Market Access and Pricing Strategies to Transform Patient Care in Saudi Arabia

Join Novo Nordisk’s International Operations team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and play a pivotal role in shaping evidence generation and pricing strategies that deliver life-changing treatments to patients across the Kingdom. As a Payer Evidence & Pricing Manager, you will lead the development and execution of pre-launch market access, evidence generation, and pricing strategies for new product launches within the Novo Nordisk portfolio. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring sustainable patient access by translating complex healthcare landscapes into actionable, evidence-based strategies that drive successful market entry and long-term commercial viability.

Your Mission

In this dynamic role, you will serve as the bridge between clinical innovation and commercial success, ensuring that new treatments reach the patients who need them most. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical, Regulatory, Commercial, Finance, and Market Access, to drive launch readiness through strategic planning, milestone tracking, and proactive risk mitigation. Your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of market access—from identifying evidence gaps and designing Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) initiatives to developing pricing strategies and engaging with payers, reimbursement bodies, and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evidence Generation Leadership: Lead the planning and execution of HEOR initiatives to address evidence gaps, including the development of health economic models that support payer decision-making and demonstrate the value of new treatments.
  • Pricing Strategy Development: Assess market dynamics, competitor activity, reimbursement environments, affordability considerations, and access barriers to recommend launch pricing strategies that align with business objectives and payer expectations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Map and engage with public and private payers, reimbursement bodies, and provider stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate insights into actionable launch strategies that secure optimal access.
  • Value Proposition Development: Create compelling, evidence-based value propositions and materials that clearly articulate the clinical, economic, and healthcare system value of new launches for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Medical, Regulatory, Commercial, Finance, and Market Access teams to ensure seamless coordination, milestone tracking, and risk mitigation throughout the launch process.
  • Market Access Documentation: Support the preparation of price business cases, reimbursement submissions, and other market access documentation, ensuring alignment with Novo Nordisk’s business needs and local payer requirements.
  • Policy and Regulation Monitoring: Stay ahead of healthcare policy changes, HTA developments, and pricing regulations to proactively assess their implications for launch planning and recommend strategic adjustments as needed.

Your Team and Impact

As part of Novo Nordisk’s International Operations—a global powerhouse covering 194 countries and serving 35 million patients daily—you will join a team of over 18,000 professionals dedicated to improving health at scale. Within the Market Access and Health Economics team in Saudi Arabia, you will report to the Associate Director of Market Access and Health Economics. This team is responsible for ensuring that Novo Nordisk’s products achieve optimal access and reimbursement outcomes, working at the intersection of evidence, pricing, policy, and payer engagement to bring treatments to patients who need them.

Your Profile

We are seeking a results-driven professional with a passion for market access and a proven ability to connect the dots between evidence, pricing, and access strategy. To excel in this role, you will bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Health Economics, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree (MSc, MBA, PharmD, or PhD) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in market access, pricing, reimbursement, HEOR, or evidence generation within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting or leading pre-launch planning, pricing strategy, reimbursement readiness, or payer-facing evidence development for new products.
  • A deep understanding of Saudi Arabia’s healthcare system, including HTA processes, reimbursement mechanisms, and the use of clinical, economic, and real-world evidence in access decision-making.
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around launch priorities and communicate value clearly using evidence-based arguments.
  • Preferred experience in managing external agencies, vendors, or research partners to support evidence generation and market access initiatives.

If you are ready to make a meaningful impact on patient access to innovative treatments in Saudi Arabia, we invite you to apply and become part of a global organization committed to improving health outcomes for millions.
