Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineer will play a pivotal role in supporting our energy sector projects, with a strong focus on the Oil and Gas industry. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Turnaround and Inspection (T&I) and possess a deep understanding of international standards and codes, including ASME, API, and ANSI. Proficiency in standards such as API610, API 617, API 692, API 691, and related maintenance guidelines is essential.

The role requires the ability to:

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Engage with management at all organizational levels, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Mediate and reconcile conflicting views and interests across different departments to drive cohesive decision-making.
• Translate complex technical, economic, and commercial concepts into clear, concise, and accessible language for diverse professional audiences.
• Develop and implement detailed schedules and plans for turnaround and inspection activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and safety protocols.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of industry standards to assess equipment integrity, recommend maintenance strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with a strong preference for candidates with 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Turnaround and Inspection (T&I).
• In-depth familiarity with international standards and codes, particularly ASME, API, and ANSI, including API610, API 617, API 692, and API 691.
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary environments and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the capacity to simplify and convey complex information to diverse audiences.
