Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

As the Information Technology Manager, you will play a central role in defining and implementing the local Information Systems strategy in alignment with Nespresso’s global objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Alignment and Innovation: Develop and communicate a clear IS strategy that aligns with Nespresso’s HQ strategy and market-specific business objectives. Identify and leverage emerging technologies to drive business innovation, improve operational effectiveness, and enhance competitive positioning.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead the alignment of IS initiatives with cross-functional business needs, ensuring seamless integration and transparency across departments. Foster strong partnerships with external vendors in accordance with procurement policies to deliver high-value solutions.
• Service Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of the IS business and technology service portfolio, including the configuration and setup of HQ and local applications to meet market-specific requirements. Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are established, monitored, and aligned with business needs.
• Asset and Budget Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all IT assets to ensure alignment with HQ configuration and financial management standards. Develop and manage the CAPEX budget in accordance with the approved strategic plan, monitoring IS/IT-related expenses to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Operational Excellence: Collaborate with functional groups and the IS team to identify, document, and resolve technology-related issues, implementing continuous improvement practices. Monitor IT infrastructure, manage system performance, and ensure proactive capacity planning to minimize disruptions and maximize productivity.
• Risk Mitigation and Compliance: Ensure that IT infrastructure and related events are documented and monitored to enable reconstruction and review of operational sequences. Implement robust change management processes to deliver reliable and secure IT solutions while mitigating risks to business operations.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring a proven track record in IT management, with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in information systems leadership. A strong background in aligning IT strategy with business objectives, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering technology-driven solutions is essential. You should possess exceptional communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive innovation while maintaining operational stability. Familiarity with IT asset management, budgeting, and service level agreements is highly desirable. A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required, with additional certifications in IT governance or project management being advantageous.
