Product Development Specialist

Join Our Team as a Product Development Specialist in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Product Development Specialist to support the development of innovative consumer products from concept to market launch. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in sourcing products and packaging, managing suppliers, coordinating manufacturing and logistics, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful product launches.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Research and identify new product opportunities aligned with our company strategy.
• Source packaging materials, components, and innovative packaging solutions.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international manufacturers and suppliers.
• Coordinate product development projects from concept through commercial production.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate shipping, import, and international logistics activities.
• Support product registration and regulatory compliance with the Saudi Food & Drug Authority (SFDA) and other relevant authorities.
• Monitor inventory related to new product launches and procurement activities.
• Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Quality, and Finance teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Prepare supplier evaluations, cost analyses, and product development reports.
• Monitor market trends, competitor products, and emerging innovations to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Product Development, Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain.
• Experience working with international manufacturers and suppliers.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of international shipping and import procedures.
• Familiarity with SFDA registration requirements is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
