Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner – Full-Time Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (BTCM) or an equivalent qualification, ensuring a strong foundation in the principles and practices of TCM. Key Responsibilities

As a full-time TCM practitioner, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive consultations with clients to assess their health concerns, medical history, and treatment needs.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that may include acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, or other TCM modalities.
• Administering acupuncture treatments with precision and care, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
• Monitoring and documenting client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, when applicable, to provide integrated care and support for clients.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client treatments, progress, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educating clients on TCM principles, self-care techniques, and lifestyle adjustments to promote long-term health and wellness.
• Adhering to ethical standards, professional codes of conduct, and regulatory requirements governing TCM practice.

Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify for this full-time position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (BTCM) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of one year of professional experience in TCM practice, with a focus on acupuncture and related modalities.
• Valid certification or licensure to practice TCM in South Africa (or eligibility for registration with the relevant regulatory body).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in both English and any additional languages relevant to the client base is advantageous.
