We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Pharmacist to oversee the efficient management of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and IV solutions within our healthcare facility. In this critical role, you will ensure the seamless flow of inventory while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory standards, thereby supporting the uninterrupted delivery of patient care. Your expertise in stock monitoring, supply coordination, and data management will be instrumental in optimizing our inventory processes and minimizing waste.

Key Responsibilities

The Inventory Pharmacist will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and availability of our medical inventory. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, inspection, categorization, and proper storage of all incoming pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and IV solutions to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Stock Monitoring & Rotation: Conduct regular tracking of expiration dates and implement robust stock rotation practices, such as First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO), to prevent the use of outdated or compromised products.
  • Supply Coordination: Collaborate closely with nursing and clinical teams to fulfill daily product requests, ensuring timely availability of essential items while preventing stock-outs that could disrupt patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
  • A valid license issued by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
  • Proven professional experience in medical store management, warehouse operations, or hospital pharmacy inventory, with a track record of implementing efficient inventory systems.
  • Proficiency in Inventory Management Software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to integrity in all inventory-related processes.
