Key Responsibilities

In this hands-on, dynamic role, you will:

• Deploy and Operate Advanced Infrastructure: Install, configure, and deploy new data center hardware and software solutions, ensuring seamless integration across global projects and functions.
• Troubleshoot and Resolve Technical Challenges: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues—from server components and networking protocols to entire infrastructure systems—using a structured, methodical approach.
• Maintain Security and Reliability: Uphold Google’s stringent security standards by monitoring, maintaining, and decommissioning equipment while ensuring data integrity and compliance with industry best practices.
• Perform Preventative and Corrective Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, repairs, and upgrades on servers, networking devices, and other critical infrastructure to minimize downtime and maximize performance.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineers, operations specialists, and project teams to implement solutions, develop contingency plans, and drive continuous improvement in data center operations.
• Support Large-Scale Deployments: Participate in or lead small project teams for major infrastructure installations, ensuring timely execution and adherence to project timelines.
