Role Overview

K2 Medical Research is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in advancing clinical research initiatives by ensuring the seamless integration and management of medical imaging capabilities. This position is critical to maintaining the highest standards of data integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency in our clinical trial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Medical Imaging Management: Oversee the procurement, processing, and analysis of medical imaging data in alignment with clinical trial protocols. Ensure that all imaging data is accurately captured, stored, and transmitted to sponsors in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Sponsor Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors, facilitating clear and timely communication regarding medical imaging deliverables. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, data management, and regulatory affairs, to ensure sponsor expectations are met and exceeded.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust quality control measures to validate the accuracy and reliability of medical imaging data. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks or discrepancies in the imaging process.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of evolving regulations and guidelines governing medical imaging in clinical trials, such as those set forth by the FDA, EMA, and ICH. Ensure that all imaging-related activities adhere to these standards to maintain the integrity of our research and the safety of trial participants.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance the medical imaging workflow, leveraging technology and innovative solutions to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. Collaborate with IT and vendor partners to implement and maintain state-of-the-art imaging systems.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for internal stakeholders and sponsors, summarizing imaging data outcomes, quality metrics, and compliance status. Maintain detailed records in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and other relevant guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a strong background in medical imaging, clinical research, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing sponsor-facing medical imaging capabilities and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of clinical trial procurement. Key qualifications include:

• A bachelor’s degree in a scientific, technical, or healthcare-related discipline; advanced degrees or certifications in medical imaging, radiology, or clinical research are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical imaging management, with a focus on clinical trials or sponsor-facing roles. Familiarity with AG Mednet or similar platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex imaging data and translate findings into actionable insights for sponsors and internal teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with sponsors, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a valuable asset.
• Demonstrated proficiency in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and data management principles, with a commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in clinical research.
• Technical proficiency in medical imaging software, databases, and clinical trial management systems (CTMS). Experience with imaging platforms such as AG Mednet, Veeva, or similar is preferred.
