• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts or overstock situations, thereby minimizing operational disruptions.
• Transportation Planning: Develop and implement efficient transportation strategies, including route optimization and carrier selection, to reduce costs and enhance delivery performance while adhering to regulatory and safety standards.
• Vendor and Carrier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including suppliers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers, to negotiate favorable terms and ensure reliable service delivery.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure full compliance with local and international logistics regulations, including customs clearance, import/export documentation, and adherence to quality and safety protocols.
• Performance Analysis: Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and propose continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) are a plus.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related discipline, preferably within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or food manufacturing sector.
• Proven expertise in logistics software and tools, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), transportation management systems (TMS), and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering results under pressure.

• Fluency in English is essential; additional proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
