Key Responsibilities:

In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting Comprehensive Traffic Analyses: Gather, analyze, and interpret traffic data to assess current and future transportation conditions, ensuring evidence-based decision-making for infrastructure projects.
• Supporting Transportation Planning: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate transportation plans, corridor designs, and intersection improvements that enhance mobility and reduce congestion.
• Modeling and Simulation: Utilize advanced traffic modeling tools to evaluate proposed schemes, assess performance metrics, and provide data-driven recommendations for optimizing traffic flow and capacity.
• Fieldwork and Site Evaluations: Participate in on-site visits to evaluate existing conditions, document observations, and contribute to road safety assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Present findings and recommendations to clients, authorities, and internal teams with clarity and precision, bridging technical complexities for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation that adhere to regional standards, ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabian and Gulf region guidelines for road design and traffic engineering.
• Project and Deadline Management: Balance multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a significant advantage and will be highly regarded.
• Proven expertise in traffic analysis, traffic studies, and transportation planning, with a focus on optimizing traffic operations and network performance.
• Strong technical writing skills to craft clear, concise, and compelling reports that communicate complex findings effectively to diverse audiences.
• Experience with traffic modeling software and tools such as VISSIM, AIMSUN, or HCS, along with familiarity with regional traffic engineering standards and codes.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• A commitment to on-site work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and the ability to manage multiple projects with efficiency and professionalism.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian and Gulf region regulations for road design and traffic engineering is a plus, though not mandatory for qualified candidates.
