Technology Systems Manager

About the Role

As a Technology Systems Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the organization’s technology infrastructure to ensure seamless operations, robust security, and alignment with strategic business objectives. Key Responsibilities

• System and Infrastructure Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of IT systems, including applications, servers, networks, and cloud platforms, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
• System Implementation and Maintenance: Lead the planning, configuration, integration, and maintenance of critical business systems to meet evolving organizational needs.
• Performance and Security Monitoring: Continuously monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and security to proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Policy and Documentation Development: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive IT policies, procedures, standards, and technical documentation to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational clarity.
• System Upgrades and Disaster Recovery: Manage system upgrades, patches, migrations, backups, and disaster recovery processes to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
• Technical Issue Resolution: Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues and system incidents, collaborating with cross-functional teams to restore services promptly and efficiently.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments and business units to gather, analyze, and translate technical project requirements into actionable plans, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Project Support and Documentation: Provide support for IT projects, including system updates, upgrades, and new deployments, in partnership with external consultants. Maintain accurate project files and documentation to track deliverables and monitor progress effectively.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressive experience in IT systems, infrastructure, applications, or technology management.
• Proven track record in managing enterprise systems and technology projects, with a focus on delivering measurable results.
• Experience in managing third-party technology vendors, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to resolving technical challenges efficiently.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and Yardi systems, demonstrating your ability to work with industry-standard platforms.
