Position Overview

We are currently seeking highly skilled and experienced Hydraulic Modellers to join our team for an upcoming water infrastructure project located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and maintain hydraulic models for water distribution networks, ensuring accurate representation of system performance under various operational and emergency scenarios.
• Conduct detailed hydraulic analysis to assess system capacity, pressure management, and flow dynamics, identifying potential inefficiencies or risks and proposing data-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including civil, structural, and process engineers, to integrate hydraulic modelling outcomes into broader infrastructure design and planning processes.
• Support the design and optimization of water pipelines, pumping stations, storage facilities, and distribution networks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in hydraulic engineering.
• Utilize industry-leading hydraulic modelling software (e.g., EPANET, WaterGEMS, InfoWorks) to simulate and evaluate system behavior, including demand forecasting, hydraulic transient analysis, and water quality assessments.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings, recommendations, and project deliverables to stakeholders, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the water sector to enhance modelling methodologies and ensure alignment with industry advancements.

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of directly relevant experience in hydraulic modelling within the water sector or water infrastructure projects.
• Hold a relevant engineering degree (e.g., Civil, Water Resources, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering) from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated expertise in hydraulic modelling of water networks, including distribution systems, pipelines, and associated infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

While the above requirements are mandatory, candidates with the following attributes will be highly regarded:

• Direct experience in designing, analyzing, or optimizing water distribution networks and pipelines.
• Proficiency in industry-standard hydraulic modelling software and tools, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Familiarity with Middle Eastern water infrastructure standards and regulatory frameworks, particularly in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex hydraulic data and translate it into actionable insights for project teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the capacity to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and engage with international stakeholders.
