We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Planning Engineer to join our team in Dammam as a full-time, on-site professional. This role is exclusively reserved for a Saudi citizen, reflecting our commitment to national Saudization policies and local workforce development. As a Planning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of projects by developing and maintaining robust schedules, optimizing resource allocation, and mitigating risks—all while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

In this strategic position, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely delivery while aligning with project objectives and deadlines.
• Monitoring project progress through rigorous data analysis, identifying variances, and proactively addressing risks to minimize disruptions.
• Supporting production planning activities by coordinating workflows, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring operational efficiency across projects.
• Preparing detailed reports for project control, presenting insights to stakeholders, and recommending data-driven corrective actions to enhance performance.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to foster clear communication, alignment, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Leveraging advanced planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) to enhance accuracy, transparency, and decision-making processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Civil, Mechanical) or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in project management principles.
• Proven experience in planning and production planning, with a track record of managing schedules, optimizing workflows, and ensuring on-time project delivery.
• Expertise in planning and scheduling software, including proficiency in tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project, to model, analyze, and control project timelines effectively.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret project data, identify risks, and propose actionable solutions to mitigate challenges.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities to facilitate collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and present findings with clarity and conviction.
• Attention to detail and organizational acumen, coupled with the ability to thrive under tight deadlines and dynamic project environments.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, particularly in construction or industrial settings, to align strategies with industry best practices.
• Eligibility for Saudi citizenship, in full compliance with national regulations and the company’s commitment to fostering local talent.
