Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Finance Manager to lead our financial operations across multiple locations and divisions. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring financial integrity, driving strategic growth, and maintaining compliance with local and international accounting standards. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee critical functions including accounting, treasury management, budgeting, and financial planning & analysis, while providing actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership acumen to manage a dynamic finance team and contribute to the company’s long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting Department Management:
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial close processes.
- Supervise a team of accounting professionals, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in full compliance with Saudi Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Review and approve payment proposals, accruals, and aging reports to maintain financial discipline.
- Reconcile vendor and supplier accounts within the ERP system to ensure the integrity of financial records across all divisions.
- Treasury Management:
- Oversee daily cash operations, liquidity planning, and banking relationships to ensure optimal financial liquidity.
- Manage short-term deposits (including Murabaha), long-term investment portfolios, and credit facilities, aligning with corporate strategy.
- Prepare weekly cash flow reports and forecasts to guarantee sufficient funding for operations across Jubail, Dammam, and Riyadh locations.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and optimize working capital allocation to enhance financial efficiency.
- Budgeting & Financial Planning:
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning cycle in collaboration with division heads across all four business units.
- Establish robust budgeting policies, planning guidelines, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and accountability.
- Conduct rigorous budget review and challenge sessions with business stakeholders to drive financial discipline.
- Monitor budget performance through detailed Budget vs. Actual analyses and deliver variance reports to executive leadership.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and long-term business growth.
- Drive the monthly forecasting process and track financial performance against established targets.
- Prepare comprehensive management reports with actionable insights, enabling senior leadership to make informed decisions.
- Analyze financial trends and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost optimization across manufacturing and trading operations.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi regulatory requirements, including ZATCA e-invoicing mandates, Zakat, VAT, withholding tax, and other tax obligations.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to deadlines.
- Prepare high-quality financial reports and presentations for executive management, stakeholders, and external parties.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, tax advisors, and government authorities to facilitate seamless operations.
- System & Process Optimization:
- Lead the implementation and continuous optimization of financial modules within the ERP system to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Create and refine investment planning frameworks and treasury policies in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams—including operations, procurement, and sales—to improve financial planning and support data-driven decision-making.
- Leadership & Development:
- Provide expert financial guidance to division managers on pricing strategies, cost management, and profitability analysis.
- Mentor and develop accounting and finance team members through structured coaching, knowledge transfer, and performance management.
Qualifications & Experience
To excel in this role, you will possess a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, complemented by a professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA. A minimum of 8–10 years of progressive finance experience is required, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial capacity within a manufacturing, industrial, or trading environment. Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, and experience with financial modeling are essential. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities are critical, as is a deep understanding of Saudi tax regulations, IFRS, and ZATCA compliance. Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
