Quality Engineer: Ensuring Precision and Excellence in High-Performance Energy Solutions

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance and control throughout the manufacturing lifecycle of our high-speed turbo compressors. In this dynamic and impactful position, you will lead initiatives to enhance product reliability, optimize processes, and ensure full compliance with global industry benchmarks. Key Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Management Systems (QMS): Develop, implement, and sustain a robust Quality Management System aligned with ISO 9001 and industry-specific standards, ensuring seamless integration across all manufacturing stages.
• Oversee Precision Inspection and Testing: Direct inline and final inspection processes for critical components—such as impellers, shafts, casings, and bearings—while supervising assembly operations to guarantee adherence to exacting specifications.
• Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions: Investigate internal non-conformances and customer returns using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone Analysis) to implement effective solutions and prevent recurrence.
• Supplier Quality Collaboration: Partner with procurement and supplier quality teams to conduct vendor audits, review First Article Inspections (FAI), and resolve defects in raw materials or components.
• Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Dimensional Validation: Ensure the accuracy of NDT procedures (e.g., PT, MT, UT) and precision inspections (e.g., CMM, dynamic balancing) essential for high-rotation machinery performance.
• Process Optimization: Initiate and lead Lean Six Sigma projects to streamline manufacturing workflows, reduce scrap rates, and enhance overall yield.
• Documentation and Compliance: Prepare comprehensive quality documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Control Plans, and PFMEA, while ensuring client-facing compliance packages meet regulatory and contractual requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in quality engineering, with a focus on heavy machinery, rotating equipment, or precision manufacturing.
• Proven proficiency in precision machining processes, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and NDT methods, along with experience applying root cause analysis frameworks (e.g., 8D, CAPA).
• A deep understanding of ISO 9001 standards and the ability to interpret and implement quality documentation effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams toward data-driven improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to collaborate with engineering, procurement, and customer-facing teams.
