Key Responsibilities

• Process Optimization: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of delivery workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize delivery times while maintaining high service quality.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of delivery professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance excellence. Set clear objectives, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to drive team success.
• Customer-Centric Approach: Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback related to delivery services. Ensure timely resolution of issues and maintain strong relationships with clients to uphold our reputation for reliability.
• Performance Monitoring: Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track delivery performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions. Prepare regular reports for senior management to support data-driven decision-making.
• Resource Management: Oversee the allocation of delivery resources, including vehicles, drivers, and technology tools, to ensure optimal utilization and adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure full compliance with local and international regulations governing delivery operations, including health, safety, and environmental standards. Promote a safety-first culture within the team.
• Technology Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to evaluate, implement, and leverage advanced technologies such as route optimization software, GPS tracking, and automated dispatch systems to enhance delivery accuracy and speed.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal departments, including sales, warehouse, and customer service, to align delivery operations with business goals and customer expectations. Represent the delivery function in cross-functional meetings and strategic planning sessions.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CSCP, or Six Sigma) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in delivery management, logistics, or a similar operational role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of delivery management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with route optimization tools and data analytics platforms is highly desirable.
• Leadership Abilities: Proven track record of leading high-performing teams, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop talent. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and make informed decisions to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing innovative solutions to overcome operational bottlenecks.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English and Arabic is required. Additional languages are a valuable asset.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in project management, supply chain, or logistics are advantageous.

Work Environment

This position is based in Riyadh and requires a blend of office-based strategic planning and on-site operational oversight. The role may involve occasional travel to assess delivery hubs, meet with clients, or attend industry events.
