Security Architect

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Architect to join our dynamic team in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security frameworks to safeguard our organization’s digital infrastructure, assets, and sensitive data. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and emerging technologies to develop innovative security solutions that align with business objectives while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Architecture Design: Develop and maintain comprehensive security architectures that integrate seamlessly with existing IT systems, ensuring end-to-end protection against cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential security gaps, analyze threats, and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks and enhance resilience.
• Policy and Compliance Framework: Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and other relevant frameworks, to ensure regulatory compliance and organizational security posture.
• Incident Response and Recovery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement incident response plans, ensuring rapid detection, containment, and recovery from security breaches or cyber incidents.
• Security Technology Evaluation: Research, evaluate, and recommend cutting-edge security technologies, tools, and solutions to enhance threat detection, prevention, and response capabilities.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, executives, and external partners to align security strategies with business goals, foster a culture of security awareness, and ensure seamless integration of security measures across all departments.
• Continuous Monitoring and Improvement: Implement robust monitoring systems to track security performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CCSP) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a security architecture or similar leadership role. Experience in industries such as energy, oil and gas, or critical infrastructure is a strong plus.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of security protocols, encryption methods, network security, cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), and endpoint protection. Familiarity with security frameworks like Zero Trust and DevSecOps is advantageous.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are preferred.
