Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant with a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering. The ideal candidate will possess 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in design, ensuring the successful execution of projects with precision and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Lead and contribute to the design of MEP systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with senior engineers and project managers to coordinate design phases, review blueprints, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
• Technical Analysis: Perform detailed technical analyses, calculations, and simulations to validate design integrity and optimize system performance.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive design documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders and clients.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all designs adhere to local, national, and international codes, regulations, and safety standards to mitigate risks and ensure project viability.
• Problem-Solving: Identify potential design flaws or inefficiencies and propose innovative solutions to enhance system functionality and sustainability.
• Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and vendors, to align design objectives with project goals.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in MEP design, with a proven track record in project execution and technical leadership.
• Technical Proficiency: Profound knowledge of industry-standard software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, ETAP, or similar platforms. Familiarity with simulation and modeling software is highly desirable.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex engineering challenges and develop effective solutions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in design documentation, calculations, and project deliverables.
