As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating operators through both practical and written assessments, ensuring they meet the highest benchmarks of proficiency before certification. Your expertise will not only uphold industry standards but also foster a culture of precision and reliability in heavy equipment operations.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will focus on the following core responsibilities:

• Conducting **practical and written assessments** to certify heavy equipment operators, validating their hands-on skills and theoretical knowledge.
• Evaluating operator competency in **multiple heavy machinery types**, including Backhoe, Bulldozer, Forklift, Grader, Wheel Loader, Skid Loader, Backhoe Loader, and Sideboom/Telehandler.
• Collaborating with project teams to ensure seamless integration of certified operators into Saudi Aramco’s operations.
• Providing constructive feedback to operators, reinforcing best practices and continuous improvement.
• Maintaining accurate records of assessments and certifications to support compliance and audit requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you must meet the following **essential criteria**:

• Valid Operator Certifications: Hold **personal, industry-recognized certifications** (not company-specific training records) for at least several of the following equipment types: Backhoe, Bulldozer, Forklift, Grader, Wheel Loader, Skid Loader, Backhoe Loader, and Sideboom/Telehandler.
• Extensive Hands-On Experience: Demonstrate **minimum 5 years of direct experience** operating heavy equipment in real-world, high-stakes environments.
• Training & Assessment Expertise:
• Proven **3+ years of formal experience** as a heavy equipment instructor or trainer, with a strong track record in mentoring operators.
• **3+ years of specialized experience** in assessing and certifying operator competency—focusing specifically on evaluating operational readiness, not HSE audits, safety compliance checks, or mechanical inspections.
• Assessment Credentials: A **formal Assessor Award Qualification** (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or Highfield Train the Trainer) is highly advantageous.
• Professional Proficiency:
• Fluent in **written and spoken English** to facilitate clear communication and documentation.
• Intermediate proficiency in **Microsoft Office** for record-keeping and reporting.

What This Role Is Not

While this position is critical to operational safety and efficiency, it is important to clarify that it **does not** involve:

• Serving as an **HSE/Safety Officer** or conducting **safety audits**.
• Performing **mechanical or equipment inspections** (evaluating the condition of machinery).
• Engaging in **safety compliance checks** during audits—only direct operator competency assessments are relevant.
