الوصف الوظيفي

Deals Manager, Buy-Side – Drive Strategic Acquisitions for High-Growth Businesses in the GCC

At Nami, we are revolutionizing the M&A landscape in the GCC by providing a premium, exclusive platform for the acquisition of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). As the leading digital-first M&A marketplace, we connect verified acquirers with meticulously vetted, off-market opportunities—eliminating noise and delivering precision-driven deal flow. Our AI-native platform ensures seamless, confidential, and professionally managed transactions, empowering buyers to secure their next strategic asset with confidence.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Deals Manager, Buy-Side to spearhead our buyer-side operations, leveraging your expertise in deal origination, due diligence, and relationship management to accelerate growth for our clients. This role is the cornerstone of Nami’s buy-side strategy, where you will not only identify and secure high-potential acquisition mandates but also curate a network of elite acquirers through our exclusive Nami Alliance platform. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and are passionate about shaping the future of M&A in the region, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

As the Deals Manager, Buy-Side, your role will be multifaceted, blending strategic deal execution with operational excellence:

  • Mandate Origination: Actively engage with discerning acquirers—including family offices, private equity firms, and corporate buyers—to secure signed buy-side mandates. Develop deep relationships with decision-makers to understand their acquisition criteria, timelines, and strategic objectives.
  • Opportunity Sourcing & Engagement: Identify and approach target businesses on behalf of our clients, including those not actively in the market. Leverage your network and industry insights to uncover hidden gems and off-market opportunities that align with acquirers’ growth strategies.
  • Commercial & Financial Analysis: Conduct rigorous due diligence, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, and risk assessment. Prepare concise yet comprehensive deal summaries and recommendations tailored to each acquirer’s CFO or finance team.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Bridge the gap between buyers, sellers, and their advisors, ensuring seamless communication and alignment throughout the deal pipeline. Manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and keep all parties informed and engaged.
  • Diligence & Documentation: Support the diligence process by compiling and analyzing critical deal documents, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risks. Maintain meticulous records on our AI-native platform to track progress and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Pipeline Management: Drive deals through the entire acquisition lifecycle—from initial outreach to closing—while maintaining transparency and accountability. Use data-driven insights to prioritize opportunities and optimize deal flow.
  • Platform Governance: Shape the standards and criteria for Nami Alliance, our invitation-only network of verified acquirers. Ensure the platform remains exclusive, high-value, and aligned with the needs of our most strategic clients.

Why Join Nami?

This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to be at the forefront of a transformative movement in the GCC’s M&A landscape. At Nami, you’ll:

  • Work in a high-trust, high-impact environment where your contributions directly shape the future of regional acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with a passionate, mission-driven team that values innovation, integrity, and results.
  • Leverage a cutting-edge AI-native platform to streamline deal execution and enhance decision-making.
  • Develop deep expertise in buy-side M&A, positioning yourself as a thought leader in the GCC’s business community.
  • Join a company that prioritizes work-life balance with a hybrid model, allowing you to thrive both in the office and remotely.

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for a strategic, analytical, and relationship-driven professional with:

  • 3–4 years of experience in high-stakes M&A, corporate finance, or deal advisory roles. Ideal backgrounds include:
    • Big 4 firms (e.g., PwC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG) in transaction services, valuations, or corporate finance;
    • Regional boutique firms or investment banks specializing in M&A;
    • Principal-side roles at family offices or private equity firms, where you’ve directly influenced acquisition strategies.
  • Fluency in Arabic (Saudi or Gulf dialect) and professional English—buyer conversations will primarily be conducted in Arabic, so strong linguistic and cultural fluency is essential.
  • Sharp analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements, conduct valuations, and engage in high-level discussions with CFOs or finance leaders without supervision.
  • Proven track record of client acquisition—you don’t just service mandates; you actively win them through outbound engagement, relationship-building, and strategic positioning. Roughly 60% of this role will focus on cultivating and expanding your network.
  • A degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field. Certifications such as CFA, CVA, or equivalent are a significant advantage.
  • Technical proficiency with CRM and deal-management tools, demonstrating discipline in data entry, tracking, and reporting.
  • Saudi nationals are strongly preferred, though GCC nationals and Saudi-based candidates with an established regional buyer network will also be considered.

Compensation & Benefits

Your compensation will be competitive and performance-driven, benchmarked to Big 4 Manager levels in the Kingdom. You’ll earn:

  • A base salary aligned with industry standards for high-impact deal roles;
  • A variable component tied directly to mandates secured and deals closed, ensuring your success is rewarded;
  • Access to a hybrid work model with a base in Riyadh or Jeddah, including regional travel as needed to support deal flow.

How to Apply

We don’t believe in generic applications. Instead, we want to see your strategic thinking and passion for M&A. Submit your application by emailing [email protected] with:

  • Your CV;
  • A subject line formatted as: BUY-SIDE – [Your Name];
  • A short response (5 lines max) to the following question: “Name one or two GCC acquirers you believe is actively buying right now, and outline your approach to winning their mandate.”

This isn’t just a formality—it’s your chance to demonstrate the same strategic mindset you’ll bring to the role every day. We’ll review your response before your CV, so make it count.

Join Nami and help redefine the future of M&A in the GCC—where precision meets opportunity, and every deal tells a story of growth.
