IT Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Manager to oversee the stability, security, and operational excellence of our technology infrastructure. This critical role encompasses the management of cloud and hybrid environments, enterprise networks, systems administration, and IT process frameworks, ensuring seamless delivery, compliance, and auditability. The IT Manager will lead a dynamic team of engineers and administrators, driving innovation while maintaining robust operational standards. Key Responsibilities

The IT Manager will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Cloud Infrastructure Operations: Ensure the availability, performance, and cost-efficiency of cloud and hybrid environments. Lead capacity planning, workload migration, infrastructure automation, backup strategies, and disaster recovery initiatives to meet defined Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) targets. Drive continuous improvement in cloud operations to enhance scalability and resilience.
• Network & Security Management: Oversee the enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, wireless networks, VPN, routing, and switching. Manage the security stack comprising firewalls, endpoint protection, identity and access management, and vulnerability management. Lead incident response efforts, enforce security best practices, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks to safeguard organizational assets.
• Systems Administration & Asset Control: Administer server, virtualization, and storage infrastructure to support business operations. Manage the entire IT asset lifecycle—from procurement to secure decommissioning—while maintaining an accurate asset register. Implement and oversee monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve infrastructure and service issues.
• Process Management & Governance: Establish and enforce robust IT processes, including change and release management, impact assessments, approvals, scheduling, and rollback planning. Champion DevOps and CI/CD methodologies in collaboration with development teams to accelerate delivery while maintaining stability. Lead incident and problem management initiatives to identify root causes and implement preventive measures. Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Leadership & Strategic Oversight: Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee budgetary planning to optimize resource allocation. Present performance metrics, risk assessments, and project updates to senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, network, and systems operations, including demonstrated leadership in team management.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience in operating production cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong foundation in enterprise networking, including LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, routing, and switching. In-depth knowledge of information security principles, including firewalls, endpoint protection, identity and access management, and vulnerability management.
• Process & Compliance: Practical experience with ITIL-aligned process management, including change management, incident management, and service delivery. Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks relevant to the organization’s industry.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and drive results in a dynamic environment. Strong analytical skills to assess risks, optimize performance, and implement strategic improvements.
