ELECTRO MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electro Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Al Khomra, Jeddah. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining the highest standards of technical performance within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of relevant experience and hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. While the position is open to all nationalities, preference will be given to Saudi professionals. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, evaluating, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Electro Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for a wide range of technical and operational duties, including:

• Design and Analysis: Researching and analyzing customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other technical data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of proposed designs or applications. This includes assessing the long-term viability and sustainability of engineering solutions.
• System Development and Evaluation: Designing, evaluating, installing, operating, and maintaining mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes to ensure they meet specified requirements. This involves applying advanced engineering principles to develop innovative and efficient solutions.
• Component Specification and Modification: Specifying system components or directing modifications to existing products to ensure they conform to engineering design and performance specifications. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance.
• Production Oversight: Developing, coordinating, and monitoring all aspects of production, including selecting manufacturing methods, fabricating components, and operating product designs. The role requires a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality output and adherence to industry standards.
• Research and Testing: Conducting comprehensive research to test and analyze the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of equipment, components, and systems. This includes developing and testing models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess their viability and potential applications.
• Collaboration and Technical Support: Conferring with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical expertise. The role involves acting as a liaison between various departments to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.
• Maintenance and Safety Procedures: Establishing and coordinating maintenance and safety procedures, service schedules, and the supply of materials required to maintain machines and equipment in optimal condition. This includes investigating equipment failures to diagnose faults and recommending corrective actions to the maintenance crew.
• Installation and Troubleshooting: Overseeing the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of machines and equipment to ensure they function according to specifications. The role includes recommending design modifications to eliminate malfunctions and enhance system performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electro Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of two years of relevant work experience in electro mechanical engineering, preferably within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, or other Gulf countries. Experience in building or manufacturing projects is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools to design, simulate, and analyze mechanical and electrical systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including those specific to the Gulf region.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
