Position Overview

We are seeking highly motivated and licensed professionals to join our team as Unarmed Public Safety Officers. Key Responsibilities

• Security Enforcement: Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized access, respond to emergencies, and enforce safety protocols in compliance with organizational policies and local regulations.
• Incident Response: Act as the first line of defense in addressing security concerns, including disturbances, trespassing, or suspicious activities, while escalating critical situations to appropriate authorities when necessary.
• Customer Service: Serve as a visible and approachable presence to provide assistance, directions, and information to employees, visitors, and stakeholders, fostering a positive and secure environment.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring all reports are submitted in a timely and professional manner for review by management.
• Compliance and Training: Adhere to all security protocols, undergo continuous training to stay updated on best practices, and comply with state and federal regulations governing public safety operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A valid Maryland Handgun Permit, demonstrating compliance with state firearm regulations and eligibility for armed service.
• Completion of our comprehensive certification program, which includes rigorous training in public safety protocols, emergency response, and conflict resolution.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; additional education or experience in law enforcement, security, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with diverse groups and convey critical information.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform duties that may require standing, walking, or responding to emergencies for extended periods.
