Key Responsibilities

The Plastic Surgery Consultant will be entrusted with a comprehensive range of duties, including:

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, diagnoses, and management for individuals requiring aesthetic, reconstructive, or plastic surgical interventions.
• Performing a diverse portfolio of cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures with precision and expertise.
• Developing tailored treatment plans and providing comprehensive patient counseling on surgical options, associated risks, and anticipated outcomes.
• Overseeing all phases of patient care, including pre-operative preparation, intra-operative management, and post-operative follow-up to ensure optimal recovery and satisfaction.
• Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including anesthesiologists, nurses, and other specialists, to enhance patient outcomes and streamline care delivery.
• Maintaining meticulous clinical documentation and adhering to stringent hospital quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Actively participating in departmental meetings, clinical audits, and ongoing medical education initiatives to foster professional growth and maintain clinical proficiency.
• Contributing to the strategic development and expansion of plastic surgery services within the organization, driving innovation and service excellence.

Required Qualifications

To qualify for this prestigious role, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

• Possession of a recognized Medical Degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent qualification).
• Completion of an accredited Plastic Surgery Residency Training program.
• Holding a valid Western Board Certification, Arab Board, Saudi Board, European Board, or an equivalent specialist qualification in Plastic Surgery.
• Active registration and classification as a Consultant by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-consultancy experience in the field of plastic surgery, with a strong track record of successful surgical outcomes.
• Proven expertise in both aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery procedures, with a patient-centered approach to care.

Preferred Areas of Expertise

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, the following areas of specialization are highly desirable:

• Facial Aesthetic Surgery, including Rhinoplasty, Blepharoplasty, and Facelift Procedures.
• Breast Surgery, encompassing Augmentation, Reduction, and Reconstruction techniques.
• Body Contouring Surgery, such as Liposuction, Fat Transfer, and Post-Bariatric Body Contouring.
• Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, with a focus on Scar Revision and Complex Wound Reconstruction.

• Valid SCFHS Consultant Classification and active registration.
