Key Responsibilities

As a QA/QC Engineer, your core duties will include:

• Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance plans and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
• Quality Control: Perform detailed inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and processes to verify adherence to specifications. Document findings, report discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions to maintain product and service integrity.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all quality-related activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective action logs. Prepare and present detailed reports to management, highlighting trends, non-conformances, and opportunities for enhancement.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies in quality processes and propose innovative solutions to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives.
• Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to personnel on quality standards, best practices, and regulatory compliance. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting awareness and accountability at all levels of the organization.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of local, national, and international regulations, codes, and standards relevant to our industry. Ensure that all operations and documentation align with these requirements to mitigate legal and operational risks.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Professional certifications such as ISO 9001, ASQ, or Six Sigma are highly desirable.
• A minimum of three years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably within the engineering or construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), inspection techniques, and testing methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using quality management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing quality-related challenges.
