We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Auditor to join our dynamic team within the Operations Audit Section in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

The Senior Auditor will be responsible for leading and executing comprehensive audit engagements, with a primary focus on operational audits. Your core duties will include:

• Audit Planning and Execution: Develop and implement risk-based audit plans in alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. Conduct detailed fieldwork, including testing of controls, transactions, and processes to assess their design and operational effectiveness.
• Risk Assessment and Control Evaluation: Identify and evaluate key operational risks, including financial, compliance, and operational risks. Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, recommending enhancements to mitigate identified risks and improve process efficiency.
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare clear, concise, and actionable audit reports that summarize findings, root causes, and recommendations. Present audit results to senior management and key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and fostering a culture of accountability.
• Follow-Up and Monitoring: Track the implementation of audit recommendations and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions taken by management. Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution of audit issues.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international audit standards, including the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (IPPF). Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices to maintain the highest standards of audit quality.
• Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and guide junior auditors and team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Participate in training and professional development initiatives to enhance the skills and capabilities of the audit team.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or ACCA is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive audit experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role. Prior experience in operations audit, internal audit, or risk management within a corporate or financial services environment is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in audit software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under tight deadlines. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
